SANTA CRUZ -- A new federal website that lists Northern California's most wanted fugitives features a suspect in the 2009 homicide of Santa Cruz teen Tyler Tenorio.
Ivan Tapia Ramirez, 26, is wanted in Tenorio's death along with another man who authorities believe fled to Mexico, Pablo Luna.
"Some of these individuals pose a real threat to the safety of our communities, and all of are actively evading detection," said U.S. Marshal Don O'Keefe.
"We are asking the public's help in catching these individuals."
The website, www.northerncaliforniamostwanted.org, launched this week as a joint project of the FBI, U.S. Marshals and Northern California Regional Intelligence Center. Federal authorities said they created the site to inform the public about dangerous suspects and solicit tips.
The Intelligence Center deals with more than 200 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. Among the agencies are Oakland Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration and sheriff's offices from Monterey County to Del Norte County near the Oregon border.
The new site includes at least 25 wanted men and women from 15 counties across Northern California.
It includes the suspects' photos, description and some information on their cases. The site also includes ways to send tips anonymously to law enforcement.
"We understand and appreciate the often complex and sometimes dangerous position that assisting law enforcement can create for individuals," said O'Keefe.
Authorities also will accept tips on fugitives not listed on the website.
Wednesday, the site listed three women and 22 men, including three men wanted for escaping from the federal penitentiary at Alcatraz in San Francisco in 1962. Frank Lee Morris, Clarence Anglin and John William Anglin all would be in their 80s now, and federal authorities posted their black-and-white mug shots on the site.

Tenorio was stabbed to death during a fight on Oct. 16, 2009. Tenorio and three friends jumped out of a car near Laurel and Chestnut streets in Santa Cruz to fight two men on the street, prosecutors said. More men arrived from a nearby apartment complex to challenge them. Tenorio was stabbed 17 times and left to die on the street.
Toward the end of a murder trial in 2012, Pasqual Reyes and Walter Escalante pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter in the case.
Pablo Luna, 26, also took part in the fight and apparently fled to Mexico, authorities said. It's unclear where Ramirez -- a suspected gang member -- might have headed, according to prosecutors.
Ramirez is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 185 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes, authorities said.
"It is no secret the public continues to be a force-multiplier in providing tips which can ultimately lead to the arrest of those who flee from justice." said FBI Special Agent in Charge David Johnson.
"The FBI believes informing and educating people through awareness and outreach can lead to safer communities."
